Writing flings the world away.
Let’s me wander where I may
To monsters lurking deep in caves
Or treasure buried beneath the waves.

Enters a place that’s not real.
Yet, I shake to make the deal.
Where time races or keeps still
And I love and/or I kill.

Dream or nightmare or a blend
Whatever it is it’s my friend.
