Mankind has historically
Lived through millennia with uncertainty.
Where was his next meal to appear?
Would it be a fish or a bear?
To satisfy his stomach’s need daily,
Man has evolved over the millennia.
Hunter-gathers are no longer
the feeders of the masses.
Now there are Super Stores a plenty
No longer to feel the need for uncertainty.
Every possible item to quench the human hungers,
Is available at the local grocery store.
Factory farmers beat out the local growers.
At what future price will shoppers pay
for the cost of food’s uncertainty?
