A pearl that grants wishes gets into the wrong hands. |
A selfless boy, Jacob, sacrifices his own life to save another, and is given a magical pearl that can grant wishes. It mostly provides the strength and power that one with a pure heart should be given in order to successfully protect others. However, that's not how this story goes. This story explores the idea of "What if someone else got this power?" Who ends up getting their hands on this pearl will vary depending on who adds to this story. Rules: 1. The pearl is mostly about granting strength, muscle, and power. They can get taller, but do not go into macro/micro themes. The pearl can do other wishes as well, but please do not stray far from this concept. However, if the idea can still connect well, and you can support it, that's fine too. 2. The bigger the wish, the more time the pearl will need to recharge. This means if there's a wish to become ruler of the world, the pearl is going to need an awful amount of time before they can wish again. Smaller wishes can be done once after another though, such as wishing for a snack or wishing for one's hairstyle to look different. 3. The pearl will change reality around the user. If someone finds themselves with muscle, it is expected that their surrounding reflect their interest in lifting weights. 4. The pearl cannot be destroyed. 5. No sex. 6. Don't add one-liner chapters. 7. Don't "story-jack". This means don't change the plot completely and drop established characters in the span of one chapter to follow the whims of a completely different group with different aims. |
