What would birds say if only they could talk?
Nightingale, from your adventures upon a night sky yonder tales could you tell?
Did you fly in skies as dark as the blackest velvet beneath diamond stars?
Did you serenade many with your sweet song in distant land far?
Did you perch within trees under a canopy of leaves, only to watch strangers passing by with ease?
Did you live a life of sorrow within' a caged prison of no 'morrow?
Oh Nightingale, if only I could understand your sweet sound in words, but your life is kept secret for only the birds.
