Don't touch!
“Do you have any evidence:” Poppy asked.
“It’s all over your face!” Gabby said, annoyed.
“Whaaat?!” Poppy cried, trying to act surprised.
“You are a terrible liar!” Gabby said as she wiped the evidence off Poppy’s face.
“Were they, at least, delicious?”
Poppy smiled.
“Scrumptious!”
Poppy pulled the last of the white powdered donut from behind her back. She stuffed it in her mouth before Gabby could protest.
Gabby sighed before walking to the refrigerator. She took out the milk and poured herself a cup.
“Here, you evil little gremlin! Wash it down!” Gabby said. Poppy stared at it, suspiciously.
“It’s just milk.”
Whatever, Poppy thought as she shrugged and took a big drink.
The taste! What the?
Her eyes grew wide as she stared at Gabby, who had a sly grin.
The milk was sour. She could feel chunks in her mouth! Poppy ran to the kitchen sink and spit it out. She could hear Gabby laugh with hysteria.
“By the way, the milk is sour. Forgot to mention that!”
“Oh my gosh! It was just donuts!” Poppy protested.
“Yes. But they were my donuts. You should have asked!”
Poppy groaned.
“I hope you get diarrhea too!” Gabby said as she walked away.
That is when Poppy felt it. Her stomach was not happy. It grumbled. She suddenly needed to go to the bathroom.
