What are they? Inspired by the Newsfeed Apr 12, 2021 at 9:19pm - I wish...by Robert Waltz
What are wishes? Because people think wishes are reality. Wishes I feel, is just another word for dreaming and there’s nothing wrong with that. I’ve dreamed and have made wishes but YOU need to make them happen. It’s not going to happen by rubbing a magic lamp.

Wishes only help our emotional state and when something positive happens we say, see wishes do come true. Or another way is, see our dreams came true. Different words, same meaning or context.

When something negative happens after we make a wish, some become all out of sorts, while some may become depressed or possibly both. Why I don't make wishes. Because wishes are dreaming about attaining something. I’ll be totally honest as well and say that I make them come true by doing the things necessary in reality for it to come true. Thus fulfilling your wish or dream.

I had one wish since I was a teen and it was a greedy and stupid dream. To hit the lottery. I wished for it and dreamed about it but it never happened and still hasn’t. Not the monetary jackpot. It took me time over the years to realize I’ve already hit the lottery. I look back and have had a beautiful, relatively healthy life and prosperous in many ways, with a beautiful wife and 7 lovely friends we all call cats [4 passed, 3 still with us], I said wishes do come true.

The point of the article on wishes is, I had to make it happen with my wife. It wasn’t just going to. It is up to each and every one of us to work at it and make it happen. You can still say, “I wish” I could have [fill in the blank]. But never give up on your wishes, just remember they’re the same as dreams and by working and doing the things you need to do to make those wishes come true, they’ll most likely be achieved. You made it become a reality and not a wish or dream anymore.
