An ode to National Oreo Day, once called Wonder biscuits. |
Wonder Biscuits First made over one hundred years ago. Now tasty flavors, colors vibrantly bold. Original wasn’t bias, both black and white. Offered all takers a delight filled bite. Studied in England for brain screens. Surprise! Rats pick Oreos over morphine. Triggers neurons, a super sugar reaction. A party of fur creatures getting in some action. Memories of after school snacks. Twist open, dissect for cookie attacks. Tongue to icing, lick lusiciously sweet. Nibble chocolate, a fun messy treat. Oreos, like us, celebrate occasions, Bastille Day, Halloween, Christmas creation. Lady Gaga had a “Chromatic” album edition. Gluten-free is in demand for medical conditions. Don’t believe this fav has missed a trick. Think of one, call it out, I bet on a fix. Available in many countries, a global feast Double-stuff, a fantasy, even made without yeast. A shout out to you all at WDC, Looking up ideas makes a smarter, hungry me. Even if it’s a cookie, what a complex history! Gotta go shop, my craving’s no mystery.
