2020 finally over. 2021, a new start. Let's write a poem about the end.
Ode to 2020

Time, the force that complements and <Smooths> all;

Past, experience ignored or recalled.

Year, flown away with stream of clicking clocks.

Twenty-twenty, I sing this ode to you,
Despite all the hardships I have been through.
Oh, how why are you treating us so cruel,
Still, I'm hither to eulogize your due.

Here, I ready upon New Year,

Tumult of the passing twelve months.

Dear, COVID-nineteen we yet fear,

Suffering with the billionths.

And finally,

Twenty-twentyone's coming near.

Notwithstanding, I shall honor thy end,
Sage you have made and courage you have sent.
Fate and destiny brought you to my sense,
You will be my past, changing my life's trend;
<Forever>

How may will the next decade be?

Better? Worser?

Merrier? Sadder?

We may never know.

Future's not our territory.

Time, the force that complements and smooths all;

Past, experience ignored or recalled.

Year, approaching with stream of clicking clocks.
