Synchronicity


You, my golden charming exterior,
with warm sun and cool springs interior.
Kaleidoscope of colors and shapes,
a personality I ache to emulate.

Me, a jigsaw puzzle of mystery,
describes my young innocent history.
An attractive child of seventeen
to mix and fold into your cuisine.

Prince Charming, promises and dreams.
Entrust with hopes, no drama plays or kid schemes.
You listen, smile, laugh, brown eyes hint tears.
Looks of assurance to repair all; no fears.

A sturdy boat awaits to travel our river of life.
Smooth ride, only occasional brush with strife.
Gentle rain comes, nature awakens in my womb.
Agony and ecstasy, birth is tough love in full bloom.

Years go by, thunderstorms burst, sun shines.
Two children grow, change, each a sign of their times.
Money comes, goes; family members sadly die.
Love changes with time; paints a deeper hue in blue skies.

It is written somewhere, in chapter and verse.
All part of an ever changing universe.
Our lives are a stunning starburst, a meteor shower.
Billions of years ago, a "Holy One" held magnificent power.
