Igor Goldkind

Igor Goldkind was born in Michigan and raised in San Diego, California. He is a poet, author and independent scholar At the age of 14, he served as Science Fiction Coordinator for the now wildly popular San Diego Comic Con. It was in this capacity that he met Ray Bradbury, whom he asked for advice about becoming a writer. Igor Goldkind's award winning book, IS SHE AVAILABLE?, incorporates poetry, art, music, and animation; in collaboration with over 25 artists from the comic, fantasy and fine art (as well as the jazz composer Gilad Atzmon) and is published by Chameleon Publishing. Igor Goldkind's most recent album of spoken word poetry TAKE A DEEP BREATH is being launched at the International Beat Poetry Festival on September 5th, 2020 and will be followed by an illustrated ebook, print book and reading tour this Fall.
