Remember, YOLO |
Mothers bear, children are born A single moment for us to learn How truly precious life can be And how early our souls are set free Mothers tired, children crying A single moment for the fleeing How young we are to feel the pain And how it will all go away Mothers laugh, children jolly A single moment to the merry How our hearts burst with joy and song And we will not before so long Mothers teach the children firm A single moment, a lesson of harm How nurturing may we’ve been taught And how soon it changes once we’ve been through a lot Mothers clap, children grow up A single moment to know enough’s enough How we want to stay when we go And how that may not happen before you know Mothers visit, children living A single moment to feel what’s missing How we dream dreams of our days And how we realize once it’s too late Mothers ill, children grieve A single moment before we leave How we give away to our dreams And how we stop crying just to breathe Mothers and children now lie and rest A single moment, though not the best How we worry ‘til we are depressed And how we become Heaven’s latest guest Mothers bear, children are born A single moment for us to learn How truly precious life can be And how I tell you to live it fully To do what you do better than me. |
