Falling for you
Take me instead, but give up on this
like an unattainable dream
I'm full of dreams, were youre the center
in your eyes youre a saint, and I'm a sinner
I'm your summer in the winter
I'm the spring in your step when you fall
It's tragic, when these things don't matter at all-
Like when you pushed me from our bridge,
and called it a fall...

I'm burning the bridge to you right now
when I considered the waters, and I
can't take the risk to swim to you
when the air in my lungs is just for screaming
I wouldve given you my last breath
but you insisted on taking my breath away,
each time I watched you walk by...

How does it feel, do you feel at all
or feel what you want,
when you can't have it all
what does it cost to get my heart back
you made it defective, its been recalled...

I'm burning the bridge to you right now
when I considered the waters, and I
can't take the risk to swim to you
when the air in my lungs is just for screaming
I would've given you my last breath
but you insisted on taking my breath away,
each time I watched you walk by...

It's tragic when these things don't matter at all...
So you pushed me from our bridge,
and called it a fall...

A fall,
a fall never mattered at all...
