Have you ever heard of the greek myth of Pandora? This is my little twist of the story.
Down the winding road and up into the mountain
Sits the dark cave of Galgora
Deep within lays a shattered fountain
That once belonged to the mortal Pandora

Long ago in the beautiful stone
Was a box made from firestone
As a gift the god gave their daughter
Diseases that could make the earth falter

Pandora only had one job
To marry Epimetheus and make the world sob
For his brother stole the flames
And for that the gods had made it their Olympic games

Hephaestus began his work in a hurry
Molding Pandora with all his furry
Out of the earth and water he made
A beautiful maiden who was unafraid

Athena then dressed her in a beautiful gown
For she wasn't going to back down
She dressed and preened her subject well
Making Pandora irresistible as hell.

Aphrodite by then wanted to join in
Adding elegance and longing into her skin
The Graces then added to the forming beauty
Jewelry and riches for it was their duty

Horae then placed a flower garland upon her head
As Hermes gave her a voice that would wake the undead
Now they were almost done
Now Zeus got to have his fun

Putting lies and deceit into her voice
Now it was time for the gods to rejoice
For their revenge was going to be great
And that no one could debate

As in plan Pandoras curiosity grew
Until finally from the fountain she withdrew
The one gift she never dared to open
But sadly once the seal was broken

The fountain shattered as the deseases were released
Like a cloud made its way into the east
Until all of the world was covered with the dreadful curse
And sickness grew with no reverse

Messing with the gods can be messy
For everything you do makes them testy
In time the humans became very careful
As the slowly became more fearful
And once again the earth was at its right
And the gods could slowly end their fight.
