I Do not Always Know

I don't always know where to go,


My sails are limp and the going is slow.


I change direction and my ship levels off


My seas are calm and I enjoy the ride.





I don't always know who to be.


I can't always trust the direction I see


I look to my heart as a compass


And I will decide.





I don't always know who to trust,


There is fear that what I love will turn to dust.


I relax and believe that the one I love loves me


And I sail the sea of love in peace.
