Oct 31 Premise Update

1. This story takes place all over upstate New York, from the Catskills to the Adirondacks. Real locations like Lake Placid, Glens Falls, Albany, and Schenectady will be used as well as fictional places Charlottestown and Beverwyck.
2. Charlemagne Duquesne is the protagonist, his good fortune with women is a flaw, can be a drawback when he’s trying to solve crimes or gathering information for a client. His need for the missing journals is what drives him.
3. Stephen Andrews stole his grandfather’s journals and Charlemagne needs them back, to write more stories AND to keep the secrets within from falling into the wrong hands.
4. Charlemagne tracks down the elusive industrialist/businessman with the help of relatives within several law enforcement agencies.
6. Action is the theme, just a good story.
