Somedays, I'm scared of the silence
Scared of the thoughts that follow
Scared of my own mind
My consciousness, myself

Somedays, I turn the music up
So loud it drowns them out
The voices in my head
And I'm safe

Somedays, they're deafening
I think everyone else must hear them too
Somedays, I scream until my throat is raw
Cover my ears

Somedays, I think I'll never hear anything else
Only the yelling from inside me
