My Little Friend

Oh yes, my handsome dragon pet,
No single soul has seen you yet!
It is true you are very small,
Only standing two inches tall.

From tip to tail within my hand,
Your stature is still very grand.
Like with a cat, I take my pause.
Touch the belly? I get your claws!

If they saw all that you could do,
They just might be afraid of you.
For if you sneeze by accident,
It starts a fire you never meant!

But the trick upon my shoulder,
Lights my pipe as I get older.
But people only find it weird…
When a miss burns off half my beard!
