Picking up and dropping people off from different corners of the town was a hectic enough job for me. But this was what my life was all about. I made my living this way.

Just like every other day, once I woke up and left my home early in the morning. Everything was fine and normal the whole day. That evening, a suspicious looking couple booked a ride with me. At first, I ignored my gut feeling about both of them looking a bit strange. Then I heard the girl weeping and murmuring something to herself as if she was being forced against her will. I was convinced that there was something definitely wrong with the whole situation.

The man looked kind of fishy. I set my eyes on them through the rear mirror just when the brakes got out of my control. I didn't know what happened next but when I regained consciousness, I saw a horrific scene.

The girl was lying dead on the backseat. The whole seat next to her was covered in blood but the thing that worried me most was that the man had vanished. If this had been an accident, why wasn't I injured? Why wasn't my car damaged? And most of all, where was the suspicious man??
