He leaned in and kissed her, her very first kiss.
They were at the county fair when Carol noticed the Ferris Wheel. She always loved that ride and insisted that Bobby would take her on it. They wandered over slowly, almost as if they were floating on air. As they sat down Bobby noticed how his best friend looked so very beautiful, so innocent. The Ferris Wheel started turning, slowly at first but quickly kicking up speed. It gracefully turned as if it were attached to a music box. The sky was starting to darken, clouds rolled through the sky almost in rhythm. It was as if they were some sort of puzzle, being put together piece by piece.

Bobby had known Carol for 11 years, practically his whole life. Carol looked over the edge of the cart they sat in. She looked frightened, lonely. This was when Bobby knew he had to do what he did. He leaned over and kissed her. He didn't waste any time though the kiss was short and sweet. After he had kissed her he could almost read her thoughts. He knew that she had been startled and taken aback by his actions. He also knew that she was slightly disappointed because she had missed the kiss. She hadn't been ready and she had missed the best part of the kiss.
He knew that she wanted him to kiss her again. She slightly blushed at this wish of hers. He knew what she wanted and he gave it to her. This time she was facing more in his direction. He slowly leaned in and kissed her on the lips. It was her first real kiss and she loved every moment of it. It was simple, it was sweet. From that point on she considered him her boyfriend, her first real boyfriend. It had been wonderful but they could never tell anyone about it.

Bobby didn't want his friend John to find out. He figured that he'd be teased by his best friend. He also didn't want Carol's friends to whisper and giggle about what had happened. The kiss was special, but only to them. It was sacred and could never be spoken of. They had shared something greater than any of their friends could ever imagine. They were in love and they were only eleven.
