No more subtlety, restraints are now free... (Form: Gwawdodyn) A Verdant Poetry Entry
Summer's Palette

Springtime pastels slowly fade away
replaced by new hues now on display.
Brown beaches, once bland, are golden with sand
as they’re kissed by the indigo bay.

Pink watermelons, glistening bright,
red and black berries shine in the light.
Yellow sunshine and bees, hunter green trees -
A rainbow of colors fills my sight.

Irises, daisies, bring forth their cheer.
Kaleidoscope shades repaint the year.
No more subtlety! Restrained but now free,
in bold, bright strokes summer time is here.
