A 24 syllable poem in Emmett Verse.

Now burn the dead wood,
Burn your impish brush,
The clean flush,
Dead be the bread for good,
Wood spreads green and lush.

Emmett: The first line contains five words, and each word of that line becomes the first word of the following lines in sequence. In addition, there is a rhyme scheme of a,b,b,a,b.
