A 299 word story. A couple leaves the dispensary and they can't find their lighter.
Zeke and Carly are leaving the medical marijuana dispensary, she is holding a small white paper bag. They get into their green mustang. Zeke pulls out of the parking lot and begins driving home.

“Finally time to medicate, break out that Pre-Roll beautiful.”

“I know right! My anxiety has been through the roof today.”

Carly reaches into her coat pocket searching for something.

“What’s wrong?”

“I thought I had the lighter.”

She starts looking through her purse.

“You do have the the lighter.”

“I can’t find it anywhere.”

“Oh no, please don’t tell me that.”

“Want me to lie to you?”

“No I just really want you to create fire.”

Carly rubs her hands together really fast as if she can spark a flame. She looks up at him and shrugs.

“Sorry no magic fire powers.”

“Ha ha very funny, Maybe it’s on the floor somewhere.”

Zeke starts to reach around the driver side floor swerving out of his lane a bit. A loud horn honks at them.

“Stop searching for it and watch the freaking road!”

“Fine but please find the lighter.”

“Hold your horses hun I’ll find it.”

Carly searches through the glovebox and looks around the passenger side.

“Did you check your boobs?”

“Why would it be in my bra?”

“I don’t know why I just know that you shove all sorts of stuff in there.”

She reaches underneath her shirt.

“I really don’t think it would be…”

Carly pulls a red lighter out of her bra and looks up at him with a guilty look on her face.

“I freaking knew it!” Zeke exclaims.

“Ya ya you were right.”

“Yes but the most important thing is we can spark it up now.”

“Let there be fire!” Carly says as she flicks the lighter to life.
