Short poem expressing the torment of a blind lover.
And with the strokes of your brush,

you painted my bleeding heart

And with that oh so sweet smile,

sacred temples turned to heathen shrines

And with words sang in the most dulcet voices,

I gobbled down the bitterest of herbs

And with the heart lost scavenging your entrancing scents,

the foul beneath lurked uncovered

And with the grip of such intoxicating power,

will became an illusion under your palm

And with the fading but comforting warmth of a dying star,

chaos ushered way for a desolate cosmos

And with the finality of the gods,

the soul roamed distressed & cursed to eternal solitude
