I want to tell a story.
When I was a very young child, my brother and I were playing 'store'. I was the cashier and my brother was the customer. He entered my store and looked around then tried to buy some awesome toy [to us at the time] and I got super mad and told him, "NO! You can't buy that!" So, my brother, patient as ever, continued to shop and chose another item. Once again I yelled at him, "You can't buy that!!!!" I'll have you know, this occurred about six more times. Finally, my brother was getting upset and said, "Well, what CAN I buy then?" I got the nastiest, brattiest expression you could imagine and told him, "A BOOOOOOOOOOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" in this super snotty drawn out manner as if it was the worst thing in the world. I have the home video still of the entire thing which my family will remind me of until I die. It's funny how now... I would probably [if my child was safe] come running into my burning down house to raid my bookshelf in a fire, protecting my most prized possessions.
