Curve Ball (12 Lines)

"I will not have to face this world alone?"
not a proper question on the phone
or one to ask out loud,
and never in a listening crowd

Life throws a curve ball, winding down
Deal with it, never let them see you frown
My test results came back today
The road will get bumpy along the way

I'd rather it be me than you
We all do what we were meant to do
Let's have a laugh, it's not so grave
Remember me smiling always, with a goodbye wave!
