No One Cares

She stands alone,
Yet no one cares.
She walks alone each day,
Yet no one cares.
She has no friends to love,
Yet no one cares.
She’s the last one chosen on a team,
Yet no one cares.
She puts on a fake face and pretends she’s fine,
Yet no one care.
She cries each night to go to sleep,
Yet no one cares.
She comes to school in sadness & despair,
Yet no one cares.
She’s found one day dead in a river,
Yet, still no one cares.
She was me.
Yet, no one ever cared.
