Length or Width?

It's not just an old wives tale-
that it's not the ship size, but how it sails.
You can easily take this either way-
A small boat has lots of room to stray.

In order to achieve satisfaction and a smooth glide-
usually means a vessel long and wide.
But, if you are the owner of such a yacht-
you need to know how to sail what you've got,

If you don't learn how to use the luxuries at hand-
You may as well have a rowboat that's stuck in the sand.
