Me And My Nightmare

I walked to the door and opened it up, and to my surprise something came running out,
.
it had a look of confusion abound, and nervously it began looking around,
.
scared out of my wits, I didn't make a sound, I just moved to the side and let the monster walk by,
.
it was unusual looking with winged arms, and beautiful gray eyes, a brown skin tone, and curly topped mane, with the color of bone,
.
his height was average with a straight body posture, going north to south, and it had a human size mouth,
.
it looked and looked as if in recognition, causing me to pay closer attention,
.
I looked close in his eyes, and they were full of fear, as if he was having a nightmare,
.
he noticed me watching, and he made a scary frown, and then he took a few forward steps, stopped, and turned around,
.
and before I could scream he opened his mouth, and yelled out
.
"where the Hell am I, this place gives me creeps, last I remember, I was in my soft comfy bed fast asleep, Dammit!, I must have fallen too deep, and now I'm having a nightmare, about visiting odd strange looking beings",
and after those last words he turned and looked straight at me, which made me stop and think, that I too was having a dream,
.
so I turned around, and I myself made a frown, and immediately spoke these words out loud,
.
" I was asleep in my soft bed as well, and was awakened by a scary sound, so I walked to my closet where the sound originated from, and out came you, a strange looking thing, and I was sure you were my nightmare",
.
so we both just looked at each other with a strange stare, and it was clear we had the same idea, that we just visited each other in a nightmare,
.
so he gathered himself and returned to the closet, he bid me a farewell, and we both waved as we departed, knowing we'd probably visit each other again tomorrow........ Sweet Dreams All
