The time we had together when you were younger was so memorable.
The times we had together (First Daughter)

The time we had together when you were younger was so memorable

We had a great time together when I had you in my home

For what happened back then I am held responsible

I wish everything was the way of aplomb.

You were my sweetest little girl your mom could ever have

You liked to help me out with the laundry and doing the dishes

With that, I loved the way you would behave

Everyday back then was like you did not have to make any wishes.

You loved it when you were able to go to Pre-School every day

And when you came home you looked forward to hanging your artwork on your bedroom wall

It was so sweet after you were hanging up the artwork you decided to go play.

you found other sources of joy on the weekends after all.

Aplomb ~ self-confidence or assurance, especially when in a demanding situation.

Note: I am not sure if the last Line on the third Stanza works yet. Any opinion would be great in this poem. I also may be changing the title of this poem because I have maybe about four more poems to write with the same title just different children
