Silly Food Sonnet

Fine piece of fruit here or there but just one
One other comes, now there's two with gusto
Lemon Yellow Flower here, too, for fun
Could there be more, no just Lemon Yellow
Milk, butter, flour popped by for the hot cross bun
Six items now, out of the blue meadow
Rocking with food song, the six in the sun
Picnic time is here, with cheering, "Let's go!"
"Stop the commotion!", toyed fox with his son
The food stood still, closely six in the row
"We're kidding", he chuckled, "we need fun, too"
"Celebrate with us. We brought friends, you know"
The festivities grew with twenty four
Might not be better fun from here to shore!
