Awakening

I ran into darkness, with smoke and fire covering the planet but, even if this feeling of fear comes crashes inward, I must rush out with the pain because no longer will I be a plaything of divine beings of our world. While everyone picks a side to align with, I alone vouched for my freedom of my own choice. I don't want to fight a war for beings that I owe nothing to, people say that one provides while the other brings destruction and ruin in one's life. I decided when the gods decided to play tug of war with me and I alone broke, instead of either trying to fix me they decided to point fingers. From, this moment forward I declared war from beings whom said my fate belonged to them, the same ones who discarded me as if already used, and from that point onwards I always thought I was alone in my fight to place fate within my own hands without having to rely on some miracle to guide my way like most in my world. Yet, here on this battlefield while I am fighting both hell spawn beneath my feet and the divines descending from above. I raise my weapons high knowing I may well be the only one on the fierce and grueling battlefield. Then when the blows came and I kneel bleeding and bend from the pain that shakes my core and what's left of me stumbles as I keep pushing to fight for my right to run my fate, I felt the hands lifting me back on my feet to continue the fighting, I see the faces of my closet friends and all the people who follow me as they want there freedom as well. As I rise with my weapons held High I shout my battle cry as we charge forward for our right to rule our own fate. I charge and won the first battle. Demons and Angels alike, were slain at my feet. As our first victory was secured we planned to take everything else. At this moment, My Awakening achieved, my power to fight the jailers of our fate I go to battle!!

Thanks for reading my brief summary of a story I planned on writing. Honestly the story Idea just came to me when I was stressed out and I thought why I can't achieve a goal on in my own way without guidelines, then it just kind of flooded out. Anyways, thanks again and please share any ideas or pointers I should go with in further developing this story. Also, please hit me with criticism as well. I want to improve my writing as well my story development so let loose. That being said I haven't really started working on my characters quite yet. I been trying to lay down the main plot point.
