Kodak stock price surged. If only...

I'd like to start with my latest experience in stock markets. I trade both stocks listed in Hong Kong and those in the US.

If you pay attention to stock markets, especially those rumor and news about listed companies going into blockchain, you will know that recently Kodak stock price surged on blockchain news. This century plus old company that reserected will issue its own crytocurrecy for photographers.

I noticed the abnormal stock price increase and tried to ride on it but failed at first because of an invalid order. The stock has a price spread of 0.05 USD instead of 0.01 USD. (I entered 3.96 USD. I could have had my order filled at 3.95 or even lower actually.) Later during the day, the trade volume and stock price continue to increase sharply and I finally bought some shares and sold them out shortly after that to make some quick money. I did so because I notice that the stock has warrants.

They have much higher leverage rates. So I bought some of its warrants. I bought one of the two at first, then sold them out and bought another, which I thought better because its trading volume is much bigger. I only got about one third of the shares I bought for the other warrant. I thought of keeping them until the next trading session. But I changed my mind when seeing there was a 20% price increase.

After that, I bought some shares of a stock on which I once made and later lost some money, hoping to take advantage of a rebound. Later I realized that this was wrong. I should have kept the shares of the second warrant or even all the shares of the first warrant. I even posted a message on a website saying that this move made by Kodak was very meaningful in its effort to come back to life by embracing blockchain technologies. Normally such kind of price spikes of stocks embracing blockchain only last for one day. But I thought Kodak was different. It proved that I was correct in this regard but I still didn't keep them, which partly resulted in my reckless action at the opening of the next trading session.
