The Strain

"Dr. Julia Harper walked into the wrong room, she created something deadly, something that wasn't supposed to be created. It infected her turning her into something inhuman yet human. She began vomiting black substances and soon became obsessed with it, creating a lab beneath the earth, infecting the homeless she would lure to her lab."
"Why hasn't she been stopped?" a young man says to the conference table
"She has, we have contained her she is in isolation, freedman bring it in"
A tall soldier brings in a large glass box and inside only black dust like clouds, the box was pitch black.
"W-Where is s-she?"
The young man says, and he gets closer to the box along with the others in the room, the man touches the glass and a woman jumps in front of his face and bangs her head against the glass before retreating into the cloud.
"Hh-holy shit what the hell was that!" the young man said still catching his breath.
"That is the strain Dr. Harper created, she was consumed into its form and has become this if I were to unlock this box she could infect everyone in this building. She cannot do any harm if she's contained."
The older woman places her hand on the glass and Dr. Harper slowly comes out looking at her then at the soldier and she placed her hand on the glass in front of him and smiled, turning from a pale black eyes woman to a soft peach skinned woman with blonde hair and green eyes. He looked at her and began shaking his head and whispered to the woman.
"Commander Gideon she is doing it again"
"Cole tell them about her"
"Ss-she Is my fianc. She invested so much work into this thing, even pushing our wedding back just to work on it."
He looked at her and put his hand on her hand and just stared at her and pulled his hand away and turning his back on her as she slowly transformed back into the pale black-haired woman. Gideon motioned for them to take the box away and she grabbed a big stack of files and leaves the room, letting the people around the table talk. Gideon Looked at her through the glass and Dr. Harper looked at her, swaying in the cloud she grinned devilishly at her, Gideon was almost mesmerized by her eyes. She was being controlled. She couldn't look away from her gaze until a man in a black suit knocked on the door, and greeted Gideon with a smile, Dr. Harper quickly disappeared into the cloud.
"Hello? Who are you?" Gideon said
"Don't worry I'm with the government, I'm agent Cooper"
Agent Cooper was a tall muscular dark man with black short hair with a strand hanging down in front of his face, and had stubble across his face. Gideon blushed as he smiled at her, she lost her train of thought as she looked into his green eyes.
"What is this exactly?" he said as he walked over to the glass box
"This is Dr. Julia Harper, she is well a villain as they say it, she created this strain that turned her into this, and if anyone got in the way of her research she'd kill them."
He gets closer to the box and looks closer and there she appeared, she glided out of the cloud and in front of him looking at him with her black eyes, looking at him carefully. She put her pale hand on the glass and looked at him almost mesmeric.
"What is she doing?" Agent Cooper said
"Don't worry she cannot break out of this box?" Gideon said
Cooper looked at her and placed his right hand on hers and a whisper was heard.
"Why do you trust those who cage you, I am your ally and I know what you want."
"What the hell was that?" Agent Cooper said backing away from the glass box.
Gideon looked into the cloud and the black eyes were now on her, her pale figure moved gracefully towards Gideon and stared at her, swaying in the box. Gideon slowly grabbed the lock to the glass box and began opening it, agent Cooper ran to her and tried to stop her, but it was too late. They laid on the floor and looked as she backed away from where she was and into the dark cloud then bam the dark cloud dispersed around the room. The strain slowly walked out of the box and looked at Gideon with a smile and said in a distorted voice.
"Thank you, you shall be saved when I take over your world" she stared at Agent Cooper and the door opened and there stood Cole.
"Julia? What are you doing?" he said to her
She turned her head all the way around and disappeared and reappeared in front of him.
"Who is this Julia you speak of?"
"You took her body, Julia I know you're in there somewhere please come out, I finished it all."
The strain looked at him confused as he showed her papers, her research. It was all complete. She laughed mendaciously.
"You stupid human...."
She twitched, and Julia's face was on her body.
"Please help me, destroy it Cole that's the only way to stop her."
Cole kissed Julia before throwing the research into the open fireplace and burning it.
Julia went back to the strain and she screamed loudly and began tearing off pieces of the black cloud before darting out the window
