This is the story of a girl who feels lost at her school
"Why do I feel this way, Mom". "Honey, I know this is hard, but we have to make these sacrifices for your father. I promise you will have a good day at school today." As I walked outside to catch the bus for school, I debated just running and never coming back. I knew if I did that though I would be disappointing my mother and my father. As the bus pulled up, I took a deep breath and prepared myself for another lonely day. I arrived at school and I saw my cousin had transferred to the same school as me, and I was so happy. I ran over to great her and as she saw me coming she quickly turned her back to me, I noticed that she was with the popular group of girls and boys and I just started to think how could she be new too and already be in with all the popular kids. Suddenly, the feeling of being alone and stranded at this new school of mine can back, I have no idea how to fight the pain anymore. I just want to have someone who cares about me or helps me through these hard times. I called my mother and asked her to come pick me up because this is all too much for me to handle today. She came and got me, but when I got home I told her I was going to go out on a walk through the park so I could clear my head. Little did she know I would not return and this would change out lives. I ran to my room to grab my jacket and all the money I had been saving up. I wrote my mother a note that said:

Dear Mother,
I love you so much and I wanted you to know that, but I just am not happy here anymore. I can not stay somewhere when it just makes me feel so terrible and just makes me want to disappear. I know you and dad will be happy without me ruining all of our lives, so I am going to catch the next flight back to California so I can live with Aunt Meg. I already called her to see if it was okay and she said yes. I am so sorry, but if I do not do this then I am going to be lost and stranded.

Love,
Scarlet

After I placed the note I was off on my very long journey to help me find my own way, because here in the state of New York I just felt STRANDED...
