Mend

The game of life shall never end
As a broken heart with time will mend.

Tears will flow too free
And soon you will see.

Time does not heal all
It’s like climbing a wall.

The hurt will forever show
Until we learn to grow.

Let the pain go away
So we can face another day.

Time helps us to heal
But it’s only part of the deal.

There’s things we must do
To heal it takes two.

When we fall we must get up
And learn to fill our own cup.
