Our End
With a shattering halt,
the heart breaks open.
Nothing can change,
its going to happen.
Tears will swell and fall,
pain will destroy.
You turn from it all,
treated like a toy.
The flame burns out,
how to stop it?
Scream or shout,
nothing can top it.
The pain of walking away,
hurts both of us.
Yelling or talking today,
but its broken trust.
We will never again,
love one another.
Breathing is insane,
we both just smother.
How long til its easy,
rage is our sin.
Air in my lungs wheezy,
this is our end.
