Another poem about wishing that my unborn siblings had survived.
Lost in the sunset, the whispers faded away.
As the silence grew closer, the cherubs floated up to the moon.
In a pale embrace, a dozen blue eyes turned to gray.
I can barely wait for the day.
The day when forgiving angels greet me, and they say that death is but a myth.
That a new day awaits me, after I climb a crimson cliff.
That my surname surpasses me, even if in a void.
Maybe there's a John or a Jack, or a Sasha and a Zach.
Somewhere, my flesh and blood awaits me.
But the instant I found it, there'd be no coming back.
For now I'll crack a joke, and flash a crooked smile too.
Just know that the reason I still live, is only thanks to you.
