A short poem I wrote when the spring arrived.
The clock has finally stopped going reversed clockwise the moment the ice has melted, the soft and mercilessly heavy sheets of snow was settled into the ground from the April showers, sun broke through the grey clouds, shining on the black and tortured trees that started slowly to bloom from the soft caresses of the golden rays of life. From the mud I've seen the grass slowly rising, almost as if it's Mother Nature's womb. Winter was a cold grave for me, as well.

The scent of memories was brought by the soft blows of the wind and old songs of the past echoed through my dreams. People were lost and found, old friends grown anew, secrets were finally shared and so the old pain finally bloomed. The pain that brought me happiness, just like a mother would smile seeing her newborn for the very first time. Time started to fly and I am being once again reminded about what a caged bird sings. The year has finally started for the likes such as I. Some things will never change.
