The blessing and curse that comes beyond love.
Some people spend their entire lives searching for this feeling,
A feeling you only think you're looking for, but never truly know.
When it arrives, it strikes you like an arrow through the heart,
Bleeding out your emotions, like an endless fountain of fire.

You are true.

A feeling you absolutely cannot miss, a feeling that can't be imagined.
Weak in the knees, butterflies in the stomach, nauseous anxiety.
Feeling faint overcomes you when they walk in the room,
Eyes wide and dilated, tingles rushing through your veins.

You are love.

The feeling of total comfort, becoming devoid of your surroundings,
The weight of the world vanishes, your body becomes lighter.
Time echoes and fades in the distance, you are wholly at peace,
Existing only for the moment standing right before you.

You are complete.

Overwhelmed by the solace of this new emotion, so fragile,
But so happy and in awe, your only goal becomes to share it.
Make it known that true love exists, fairy tales do come true,
Firstly, with the one who gave you this gift, lastly, with the world.

You are emboldened.

Every tear you've ever shed, every pain you've ever felt,
Completely amplified forevermore, as you gain a new appreciation.
A perspective blind even to your third eye, a puzzle solved in your mind,
The chains we bind ourselves to, the pain we put ourselves in, shattered and gone.

You are free.

Scratching at the walls, you rip and grasp at the fading light,
Vowing never to let the feeling go, doing anything possible to preserve it.
All because life had always been so dull until this feeling came around,
Etching its claws into your soul, life will never be the same.

You are love transcended.
