The Sheriff placed the patrol car in park and turned to see if he was adequately hidden from the City Limits Bar at the edge of the county line. With a grunt he turned off his headlights and turned down the dashboard lights. With a smile he turned to his newly hired deputy.

"Son, this is the best way to catch yourself a Law breaker. Drunks will be coming out of there and we'll get 'em."

"But isn't this like entrapment? I mean they come here to drink and then we just target them when they come out?" He shook his head slightly. "It doesn't seem fair."

"Fair?!?" Exclaimed the Sheriff, "I don't know why you want to complain all the time! We're doing our job, look!"

The Sheriff pointed to a young man who stumbled out of the bars side exit. The subject in question shuffled like an extra from the walking dead, stumbling over the drive through curb and lightly bouncing off of a parked pickup. He finally made it to a car and took several minutes to dig the keys out of his pocket. He dropped the keys and smacked his head on the door of the car as he bent to pick them up. He finally opened the door, got in the car and then started it.

Slowly backing up he drove over the curb, and drove south on the highway. They pulled him over a few miles later.

After getting him out of the car and performing several DWI tests, which he passed without error, the Sheriff, scratched his head and said,

"Son you looked drunker than a skunk but passed all the tests, I don't understand it?"

"Why Sheriff, that's easy. I'm the DD."

"Designated Driver?

"No, Drunk Decoy, they all went that way!"
