Shattered glass litters the floor,
she just can't take any more.
Pushed and pulled in so many ways,
she'll never see better days.

Just one shard is all she needs,
her release found when she bleeds.
One cut with the jagged edge,
she's trapped on a never-ending ledge.

No other way to end the misery,
no one around her can see.
The true self-hate she has locked inside,
her self control slowly subsides.
