Go to sleep Little One
The world is locked outside
And I am here by your bed
Watching as you drift off to dream.

May you never have a nightmare
The monsters have all been chased away
You’re snuggled up with your teddy bear
Mommy’s here – drift off to dream.

I watch you sleep in peace
Your covers tucked up around your chin
And say my prayers for your sweet rest
