Summer Sun on Greening Field

Summer sun on greening field,
'Neath are drops of well-spent rain
Challenged days are being healed.

Storms o'ercast were fully tealed,
days of test are growing plain,
Summer sun on greening field.

Days of youth are now revealed,
Foolish thoughts, some hope of gain,
Challenged days are being healed.

Blast of heat, the needed shield,
Show'ring flood comes down again,
Summer sun on greening field.

Proudest heart 'fore God has kneeled,
Liberty from awful chain,
Challenged days are being healed.

Lasting Hope is fin'lly sealed,
Trusting blooms ne'er reached in vain,
Summer sun on greening field,
Challenged days are being healed.
