The Writer's Cramp poses that age old question, the one most Moms dread.
What's for dinner? I'm so glad you asked.
'Cause as a Mom with this I am tasked.
Sure there's laundry, cleaning, and such
          But preventing starvation is much
         more a mission, a priority.
         Cooking is my speciality.
So, what do you fancy? Any thoughts?
Let me guess. You're a kid, you do not.
With Mom magic I'll whip up a feast.
Tempt your taste buds at the very least.
Course I'll consider your whim and mood,
and your strange, wee adversions to food.
Yes, I know you do hate anything green,
plus you fear all the stuff that's unseen.
As your Mom I'm putting my foot down.
If I'm the cook, meals are turning 'round.
What's for dinner? How 'bout something new?
A new and improved Mother menu.
You may consume as much as you wish.
When hungry, it's the best supper dish.
I shall call it 'Take It Or Leave It.'
Trust me, for both our sakes, I insist. ( 22 lines )
