Charlotte never saw it coming. It was too late once she saw the big picture.
There was never a warning. When Trump decided to drop the bomb on Syria, he didn't tweet it to the world first. He just did it. Charlotte remembered when she heard the story on radio as she was driving to work. Trump was putting his foot down. He was not taking any bullying and he was being pre-emptive.

A shiver ran up Charlotte's spine as the radio announcer, Bret something, dramatically recounted the events which lead up to the launching of the bomb.
