Frost Bite

Thoughts of you are like frost bite
Tingling, painful, endless misery
You consume my every thought
I cannot focus on anything else

The feeling, like my skin is
falling off, is obstructing me.
My every thought is deterred
By this aggressive sensation.

Warm water helps thaw
These frozen feelings,
And be free from
This agonizing pain
That will not relent

Find a new victim to burn
Take your irritating pain
And bestow on someone else
Let me be warm and toasty
