A poem of loves dark side.
Love to me is such a painful thing.

When I've been screwed over, left, drove damn near insane.

My heartbeat quickens when they try to explain.

Knowing before they say it that it's all just a game.

I walk down the backstreet away from my home.

Hoping for a new way, before my minds completely gone.

I meet a new person and speak a new name.

But the back my mind says "hey, they're all the same".

My broken mirror thinking always brings back the pain.

Thinking about such a peaceful life.

Before faith and fake loyalties filled it with strife.

Never knowing who next will be holding the knife.

For me or against me, stab my back or by my side.

Come save me, come love me, don't let it end this way!

No dear, I won't help you. Your hand has been played.
