Alzheimer's, The Beast

Alzheimer's is a filthy, nasty beast,
upon the unwilling does it feast.
while sating greed with abandoned mirth,
does it quench uncontrollable thirst.

Never does this evil discriminate,
whose heart and soul next to take.
It makes you witness to its corrosive spell,
Sending absolutely everyone to bloody hell.

That last night I spent with you Dad-you knew,
that glimmer in your eyes shone though,
That Bastard Alzheimer's did not cheat you and me,
Because forever in heart and and heaven, we'll always be.
