It is a poem describing the desert as a nature's unique creation.
As the swirling wind blows over
the Desert from morning till night,
the great barren expanse of the Desert
lie unchanged and undisturbed
like an ocean of intrigue and amazement!

This vast engulfing emptiness
seperating the earth from the sky
with its ever changing dunes
altering the face of the earth hour by hour.

Unearthly and perilous is the Desert
under the scorching heat of the day
and the biting cold of the night.

But the Desert is only one of its kind
that make it a unique place on earth
because the desert becomes a paradise
when the havens burst to fill the streams
and to make the flowers bloom, though only
for a while and then disappear without a trace.

And many tales are told about the Desert
where the Oases offer the shade of the
Date Palm and a drink of the sweet water
of the ponds to the weary traveller who
rode upon their elegant camels across the Desert sand.
