I am so blessed to have a granddaughter like you,
So beautiful and confident in everything you do.
Caring, loving, respectful of others,
Always a tower of strength through adversity.

You have a fire within you, that's good,
For no one will every take advantage of you,
You can stand on your own two feet,
Whether or not others let you down.

Today, as you graduate, I am so proud of you,
You made it through with determination,
And weathered all the storms that life gave you,
And became a stronger person today.

Always be yourself; because that's a great person to be,
Never let anyone tell you you're not good enough,
Or pretty enough, or smart enough,
To do whatever it is you want to do.

I believe in you, I hope you always believe in yourself.
I hope you find the love of your life,
And I hope your love always stands beside you,
But if they don't, I know you will survive.

Today, spread your wings and fly,
In any direction you want to,
For there is nothing you can't accomplish,
If you set your mind to it, and stick with it.
